2017 has been a fast-moving and memorable year!  Please join us to create new memories as we celebrate the Holiday Season and Church Family Fellowship.  Please review information, make your reservations and pack your bags!

What:  A weekend fellowship trip for Steele Hill Members and Friends

When:  Depart:  Friday, December 8    Return:  Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017

Where:  Hendersonville/Asheville NC (Western NC Mountains)  Hendersonville is 30 minutes from Asheville

Goal:  To provide an enjoyable weekend that will strengthen our church bond through fellowship

This is the same hotel that we stayed during our previous visit.  We have the same 2015 rate ($109.00 + tax).  Also, the rates in Asheville are much more expensive and this option gives us the best value.

Schedule Permitting (Opened in 2007, Feed 'n Seed promotes a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere where good friends and good music come together for old-fashioned fun and entertainment.  In addition to serving as a community/cultural center for the community of Fletcher, NC, Feed 'n Seed is a church pastored by Phillip Trees.)

Two Options for Saturday Afternoon Activity

Biltmore House or Flat Rock Playhouse Christmas Spectacular. Please review this information carefully and make your selection.

Biltmore House

Expeience George Vanderbilt's 8,000 acre estate (America's largest private home)  decorated for the holidays.  It will require some planning and coordination for a group visit to go smoothly (http://www.biltmore.com)

About Biltmore House Tour (will have the bus and church van available for transportation)

  • 10+ paying adults qualify as a group
  • Self-guided tour
  • Reservation required:  Arrive 45 minutes prior to reservation time
  • Pay upon entry.  One person will pay. Bring exact cash or pay in advcance
  • Reservation times depend on the number of slots available.  Only a certain numer of people are allowed due to fire codes, etc. Ideally, if everyone cannot enter at same time, we try to schedule back to back (average 15-30 minutes incrments)
  • Allow 1.5 - 2 hours just to see the house and gardens. You can spend more time. Restaurants on site, etc.
  • Steps and walking are required for tour

  • Ages 17+                   $47.08
  • Ages 10 - 16              $23.54
  • Age 9 and Under       Complimentary with paying adult

Audio for self-guided tour (Optional but suggested)

If everyone in group gets audio,everyone gets discounted rate

About Flat Rock Christmas Spectacular (2:00 PM Saturday)

Flat Rock Playhouse, The State Theatre of North Carolina, continues to thrill audiences with Broadway musicals, comedy and drama.  Flat Rock Playhouse offers the best live entertainment in Western North Carolina.  The Christmas Spectacular is a delight for all ages.  Singers and dancers from New York will be on stage along with performers from local dance studios and the Flat Rock Playhouse Chorus.

Length:  2 Hours with intermission

Group Rate:

10+ People

$35.50 per person + 6.75% NC Sales Tax = $37.90
